Epic Show Addition on Revision3

Epic Meal Time

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: a big part of my job is knowing good content when I see it and there are some days when my job is really easy. The first time I saw Epic Meal Time was one of those days. I was hooked on this show from the moment I saw them stuff a bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a pig. Epic Meal Time is an undisputed and absolute YouTube phenomenon. Their audience is huge (averaging more than 2 million views an episode) and engaged (tens of thousands of comments on each video). All you have do do is watch any of their 26 videos and you’ll immediately see how funny and creative these guys are. They’ve been consistently putting out a video per week, each one more epic than the last. They’ve even made an appearance on network television, as guests on The Tonight Show last month (they cooked a “meat car” on air with Jay Leno).

After seeing the hard-driving, hard-drinking on-screen persona of Harley and the other guys on the show, we went up to Montreal to meet with them not knowing what to expect. Turns out, that in addition to being some of the most talented producers out there, they’re also some of the nicest. We had a fantastic meal of ribs and jerky and decided we had to work together moving forward.

So, we’re extremely excited to welcome Epic Meal Time to the Revision3 network. They join our high-quality stable of shows and bring a new flavor (of SAUCE) to our line-up. For those of you who haven’t seen the show before, I’m sure you’re going to become just as big of fans as we all are.

Epic Meal Time may in fact be the most irresponsible and disturbing peace of crap show I’ve ever seen. Suggesting anyone create 75k calorie meals of any kind is the equivalent of doing a how to video on how to load a gun, put it to your head and pull the trigger.

If anyone is stupid enough to make these “Meals” eat them and then die, Rev3 is liable. You air it without so much as disclaimer to “Stunt Cooking: Do Not try this at home?” My suggestion is lawyer up.

      To the haters.

That’s why when they eat it it’s usually more than one person eating it. The only time I’ve seen one person eat a whole meal they create is the aviator glasses guy who is actually a personal trainer.
