We’re very excited to bring you Anyhoo, the newest show on the Revision3 network. Anyhoo is a daily dose of fun facts and pop culture to break up your day with the information you need to know. We’re talking important stuff like celebrities who were also spies, the must-have Twitter followers, and artificial, lab-grown (and functional!) vaginas. You’ll find some friendly and familiar faces on Anyhoo, like Animalist News’ Catie Wayne, DNews’ Trace Dominguez, and Rev3Games’ Tara Long. Check out some recent Anyhoo episodes below and be sure to see them all on Revision3.
We’re very happy to release our brand new iOS app! Now it’s super easy to keep up with your favorite Revision3 shows on the go. Create a custom Watch Later playlist with any and all shows. You can also jump ahead to a certain segment within an episode, so you won’t miss a thing. Whether you want to hear the latest review from Rev3Games, check in with Philly D, build something awesome with DIY Tryin, or watch any other show on the Rev3 lineup, it’s all right here in our free app–now available for free from the App Store.
If you’ve been using an older version of our app, we suggest you remove it and install this new version. It’s a whole new product with new features and bug fixes for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod. The app is optimized for the iPhone 5 and requires iOS 6.1 or later. Try it out and let us know what you think!
It is our great pleasure to announce the integration of the Revision3 site and apps with Chromecast. If you have the Chromecast device, you’ll be able to cast any of our HD videos to your TV using your phone, tablet or laptop. In fact, you’ll be able to turn your phone or tablet into a video input for your TV – basically, your device becomes a super-remote controlling your television. We’ve been casting to our TV using YouTube and Netflix for a while and now you can enjoy it with Revision3 videos across all devices. You can start by watching a video on how to make yourself fly like Superman, in the movies.
What we find especially exciting about Chromecast integration is that it ends all this device-switching while treating the phone and the tablet as first-class video delivery platforms. You can start watching a video on your phone or tablet, and then cast it in-progress to your TV once you walk into your living room. Or, start by casting a video from your phone or tablet to your TV, then pause it and take it with you into the kitchen or off to work. Chromecast makes your TV just another screen, bypassing the complexity of integrating with the multiplying numbers of set top platforms.
Certainly our team has had a great time working on this Chromecast integration. Here’s a picture of our developers watching Revision3 on TV using Chromecast. Thanks guys!
How to use it:
- On Android download our app here. You’ll also need to install the Chromecast app.
- In the Chrome Browser, get the extension here.
- iPad: search for Revision3 in the App Store. Stay tuned for our iPhone integration, coming soon.
- Our favorite Chromecast integrated apps, featured on Google.
When you have your Chromecast device plugged into your TV, an icon will appear on your app or browser indicating you can cast it to your TV . Click it and it will find your Chromecast and cast the video to your TV.
It’s an exciting time for the Tekzilla production team –we’ve just launched Tekzilla Bites, HD Nation lives on after TechFeed, and we have two new shows debuting in the next month– but not all our news is full of awesome. After six years and hundreds of shows, our partner in tech mayhem, Veronica Belmont, is moving on. We’ll let her tell you more below.
She’ll be greatly missed.
Joining Tekzilla back in 2008 was a total no-brainer for me. I wanted to work in the web video world with people who were passionate about technology, doing something different, and knew how to have fun. In the almost six(!) years since then, Tekzilla — and the people who make it — have changed my life and career forever.
I’ve written several (very sappy) versions of this post, but I want to keep it short and sweet: Tekzilla is continuing to evolve in new and exciting ways, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to see how I can do the same.
It’s silly to say that Roger, Patrick, Robert, and the rest of the crew have become “like” family to me, because they really are. The entire production team has seen me at my best — and worst, I’m sure — and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve taught me over the years.
So, what’s next? Well, I don’t know quite yet. I’m about to start production of Season 2 of the Sword & Laser YouTube show and complete work on our short story anthology, but beyond that I’m still deciding where I want to take the next step in my career. As always, there are irons (and broadswords) in the fire!
I just want to say thank you to Revision3 for so many great years and opportunities, and give a HUGE thanks to the thousands of fans and viewers of the show that have constantly kept us energized (and on our toes!) these past six years. We have the smartest viewers on the planet, and I look forward to meeting more of you both online and off. We’ll always have CES!
In the meantime, you can keep up with me as always on Twitter, or over on my blog, and I’m looking forward to seeing you at the next stop!

We’re very excited to launch Blow It Up! with Tory Belleci today. When Tory came to us with this idea, a show where he blows up items that have caused people pain, we said “you had us at ‘blows up.’” The show concept is quite simple, but it’s Tory’s personality and general great attitude that make it really special… also some of the most amazing explosions ever recorded on the Internet!
Working with Tory has been an absolute pleasure. He really is one of the nicest guys in the business and we’ve been fans of his for many years, watching him on Mythbusters. He poured his heart and soul into this new show, working long hours with our development director Matt Labate, creating a really amazing and fun experience for the audience. Through the series, you’re going to see Tory blow up all kinds of things – like a car in today’s inaugural episode – but keep watching and you’ll see some things blown up you could have never imagined!
Tory, Matt and the rest of the team spent a long, hot week in the desert, working extremely hard to bring you this very ambitious and creative show and we hope you’re going to love watching it every week.
With this show, we’re doing exactly what your mom told you never to do: blow s*** up!
Revision3 is dedicated to giving our millions of loyal users the best possible viewing experience. Google’s Chromecast is a simple yet powerful device that shares our vision, and together we’ll adapt your living room totake advantage of big screens, familiar interfaces and a world of online content.
With today’s release of this new device, Revision3 is thrilled to announce that we have been working with Google to bring our all-original content to the Internet Generation. In the very near future, you’ll be able to “cast” Revision3 content to the biggest screen in your house from your laptop, phone or tablet… all with the click of a button.
With the Chromecast plugged into the HDMI port of your television, you can start/stop video, control its playback and volume, and even pick up the playback on another device. What’s more is that multiple people can take over and control the same screen, so everyone can participate in the experience.
Perhaps best of all, Chromecast works brilliantly with applications built on Android, iOS and HTML5. We’re excited to launch across all three platforms in the upcoming months, so please stay tuned!
Anyone who uses the internet knows that cats are kind of a big deal online. It’s been routinely theorized that the internet is made up mostly of cats, rather than being a large collection of tubes. The most popular and fastest rising of these cats is Lil BUB.
Today it’s my pleasure to welcome Lil BUB to the Revision3 family and to announce a new show we’re working on with her and her owner Mike Bridavsky. If you’re not familiar with BUB, CLICK HERE IMMEDIATELY. As you can see, she’s a very unique looking cat, and that special quality has made her an online celebrity. She initially became famous on Tumblr, then Facebook and Instagram, her audience of fans growing more each day. Vice has produced a documentary about BUB and she has a book coming out this fall.
Simply put, it’s the year of Lil BUB.
We’re partnering with this special cat to create a show unlike the Internet has ever seen. It will be as unique as BUB herself, and allow her to showcase her many skills, mostly her people skills.
The thing about celebrity cats is that they all tend to have very smart and creative owners and Mike is no exception. His love for BUB is only matched for his vision for the show he wants to create with her. We’re excited to be on board and developing the show with Mike and his team.
We’re working hard on a ton of really fun ideas so be sure to keep your eyes peeled in early August for more announcements about Lil BUB’s Big SHOW!
There are a lot of Xbox 360s out there. A lot. Some of you even have more than one. We like ‘em here, too. We have a lot. Really. We play with them, we report on them, we watch movies on them – which started us thinking that we really should be on them…
…so we are. On March 26th, you’ll be able to install the new Revision3 for Xbox LIVE app on your Xbox 360 from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The Revision3 app has been designed from the ground up to be an amazingly outstanding Xbox 360 experience for viewing Revision3 content. Making use of the Kinect for Xbox 360 motion and voice sensor, you can literally tell the application what show you want to watch, and move through the episode lists with a swipe of your hand. Video is displayed in full HD glory, and looks great on your new gianormous flatscreen that you bought for the Superbowl. (C’mon, be honest… you know that’s why you bought it.)
The application itself is gorgeous, it shares the classic Revision3 look you’ve come to love but in a specific Xbox kind of way, and the video playback is stunning. We think you’ll select this as your Revision3 viewing experience of choice, the same way we all have here.
